HARMONY COLLECTION INTENSE ARABICA LAUNCHING

The Macallan Harmony Collection Intense Arabica is a limited-edition single malt whisky that drew its inspiration from the Arabica coffee bean. Released as the second installment in the Macallan Harmony series in late 2022, this special expression was crafted to honor the world of coffee and explore the flavor synergies between the two beverages. To create this whisky, Macallan's Whisky Maker collaborated with several world-renowned coffee experts. The result is a rich and complex whisky with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, tiramisu, and sweet oak.

This release was a significant event for whisky enthusiasts and collectors, who were invited to experience the product through special launch events. Its limited availability and unique concept, blending the worlds of Scottish whisky and Ethopian Arabica coffee, made it a highly sought-after item. The Intense Arabica offers a sophisticated and memorable tasting experience, proving to be more than just a whisky, but a harmonious fusion of two revered worlds.

The launch setup for The Macallan Harmony Collection: Intense Arabica was designed to immerse guests in the sensory connection between whisky and coffee. The venue was transformed into a refined café-inspired tasting lounge, featuring warm earthy tones, coffee bean textures, and rich wooden finishes that echoed the spirit of both Macallan and Arabica. Guests were guided through a curated journey that showcased the whisky’s aromatic depth — from coffee-scented installations and espresso brewing demonstrations to tasting counters pairing whisky with artisan coffee desserts. The production team incorporated subtle lighting that resembled the golden hue of aged whisky, while elegant display pods highlighted the limited-edition bottles. The overall atmosphere blended luxury, craftsmanship, and sensory storytelling, creating an experience that celebrated the artistry and harmony of whisky and coffee culture.
